Amy Rose and Karen Sun together conceived and opened CRIB in summer 2006.
Children's fashion at CRIB reflects a clean and modern California style, featuring designer tees and jeans.
Amy and Karen first met in Spring 2005 at Donna Holleran Baby group in Santa Monica where they bonded as new moms
of their little boys, Jameson Rose and Oliver Sun. While becoming friends, Amy & Karen also discovered they shared
career backgrounds in fashion and retail. With Amy's fashion retail experience and Karen's experience in Los Angeles
fashion showrooms, they decided to open a kid's store in Beverly Hills. As stylish women and moms of little boys,
Amy & Karen longed for a children's clothing store that focused equally on boys and girls fashions. Whereas most
shops in Los Angeles offer a varied and stylish selection for girls, the boy's clothes were scant and boring.
Amy & Karen also wanted a kid's boutique with pieces that reflect the individual style of the parents doing the
shopping. With CRIB, they made their dream a reality, kids clothes to rival the most stylish adult wardrobe.
